146 km   It's extremely close, but Bennati is celebrating.
145 km   Quick Step opens.
145 km   Crédit Agricole at the front now.
145 km   Last km this year in the Tour.
144 km   Lampre still leading.
144 km   They ride into the tunnel for the last time.
143 km   Lampre alone at the front still as they leave Champs-Elysees.
142 km   Lampre is riding hard to see, if they can get Bennati his second stage win this week.
142 km   They are turning at the Arc-des-Triumphes for the last thime with Lampre at the front.
141 km   Gutierrez (CEI) and Flecha (RAB) have been caught.
140 km   Flecha and Gutierrez are alone at the front. The rest of the escapees are back in the peloton.
137 km   Gutierrez attacks and Flecha goes with him.
126 km   It seems the peloton is in control, ever since Crédit Agricole chose to go with Hushovd in the peloton instead of Charteau in the breakaway.
133 km   Crédit Agricole and Barloworld have almost cut the lead in half.
129 km   Eventhough they have Charteau in the escape, Crédit Agricole has decided to join the work in the peloton. He is probably not feeling strong enough to beat a guy like Ballan or some of the others in the group.
125 km   There are several sprinter's teams involved in the escape and Quick Step might want to let them go, so they will take the bonus points, so this really looks very possible for the escapees to pull off.
122 km   It is still just Barloworld chasing in the peloton and so far they are losing the battle against the strong escape group.
120 km   The escapees are extending the lead.
116 km   The escapees are working really well together.
115 km   Barloworld is probably leading the peloton in order to put Robert Hunter in a position to win the stage.
114 km   The escapees are 25 seconds ahead as they passes the finish line again.
112 km   Barloworld has taken the front of the peloton.
112 km   Gutierrez is the best placed rider in the GC among the escapees. He is number 22 with 45 minutes up to Contador.
111 km   The escapees are: Gutierrez (CEI), Portal (CEI), Flecha (RAB), Gerrans (A2R), Ballan (LAM), Scholz (GER), Charteau (C.A), Fischer (LIQ), Delage (FDJ), Knees (MRM).
108 km   10 riders have opened a gap. Ballan (LAM) is probably the biggest name in the group.
106 km   About 10-12 riders seems to be opening a gap now.
105 km   3-4 riders are once again about to open up a gap.
104 km   The peloton is all together, but stretched out a lot as they leave Champs-Elysees the second time.
103 km   4-5 riders almost manages to open a gap.
102 km   Bichot is back in the peloton.
101 km   A new bunch of riders tries to escape.
100 km   Bichot is riding alone up Champs-Elysees the second time around. The peloton is 15 seconds behind at the line.
99 km   The lone rider at the front is Freddy Bichot (AGR).
98 km   An agritubel-rider is the first man to attack.
97 km   The entire Discovery Channel team is heading the peloton.
96 km   The peloton is turning at the Arc des Triumphes.
94 km   The riders are now on Champs-Elysees for the first time today. It is still dry in here.
93 km   The riders have reached the heart of Paris. They have reached Place de Concorde.
92 km   We've got to expect that the teams classifications won't change today.

Team classification:
1 Discovery Channel
2 Caisse d'Epargne 19.31
3 Team CSC 22.10
4 Rabobank 36.14
5 Euskaltel 46.51
86 km   The riders are riding along side the Seine.
85 km   Discovery Channel has put three riders at the front of the peloton to raise the speed. They have just passed by l'èquipe's office building.
84 km   The riders have reached Issy-les-Molineaux.
80 km   The second of two intermediate sprints won't come untill the riders are on Champs-Elysees.
75 km   The peloton is still riding a tempo which wouldn't scare off any amateur rider from riding off in an escape.
73 km   The first intermediate sprint was won by Lilian Jegou (FDJ) ahead of two Quick Step-riders, Barredo and De Jongh.
72 km   Quick Step is going for the sprint - two riders have moved forward in order to remove the points from the table.
68 km   The peloton is riding past the Olry Airport now.
61 km   Next point on the parcours is the first of two bonus sprints. It will be at Chatenay-Malabry after 74km.

55 km   Unfortunately the graphic lacks the indications of the mountains sprints, but we have just passed one more, which was won by Quick Step's Geert Steegmans ahead of Michael Albasini (LIQ) and Yaroslav Popovych (DSC).
54 km   We would like to repeat our apoligies regarding yesterday's lack of updates for the last 1½ hours of the time trial. There was a cable break down in Paris, and we were not able to get it fixed before it was too late. Hopefully we will get through today's stage without problems.
51 km   Result of the mountains sprint after 50km:
1. Steegmans (QSI) 3 pts
2. Lövkvist (FDJ) 2
3. Willems (LIQ) 1
50 km   General classifications after the time trial:

3 Levi Leipheimer, Discovery Channel +0.31
4 Carlos Sastre, Team CSC +7.08

48 km   We have had a very grey sky in Paris the whole morning with a few showers and a lot of wind, but it's been a while without any rain now, so let's hope for some dry cobbles for the riders at Champ-Elysees once they arrive here.
46 km   Ther's 100km left of the stage and we have had not escape attempts yet, as te peloton is just rolling towards Paris.
46 km   Welcome to the live update from the last Tour stage of the year.
